ÖBB-Technische Services-GmbH has concluded a maintenance contract with Raaberbahn AG for the maintenance of their VENTUS vehicle fleet until 2030, thus adding a new chapter to the long-standing cooperation of the two companies.
The maintenance contract covers the complete range of maintenance services: from minor service steps to the reconditioning of the various vehicle components all the way to major overhauls and accident damage repair. The local trains are serviced according to a sophisticated maintenance concept that maximises the availability and operational readiness of the trains while simultaneously minimising vehicle reserves.
After more than 150 trains for ÖBB, we have now also started the final assembly of the first wagons in the green/yellow design of Raaberbahn at the TS facility in Jedlersdorf in March. By the summer of 2022, we will have completed eight VENTUS multiple units for our long-time customer.
Thanks to the cooperation with ÖBB-Technische Services-GmbH, Raaberbahn can rely on a well-established, professional maintenance provider, but also allows the company to benefit from a state-of-the-art workshop network, an extensive spare parts pool and more than 75,000 years of experience in the maintenance of rail vehicles.
