At the end of September the new Cityjet Desiro ML (MainLine) commuter trains for the Tyrol went into operation. Representatives of the Province of Tyrol, ÖBB, Siemens Mobility Austria and Verkehrsverbund Tirol (VVT) ceremoniously heralded the deployment of the new trains in Innsbruck. On this happy occasion, the brand-new maintenance station of ÖBB Train Tech was also presented at the same time. The ultra-modern, 285-meter-long workshop scores with innovative equipment and new maintenance concepts. This guarantees optimal maintenance of the new trains by our experts. They give their best here day after day, 365 days a year.
